Is Exuma safe?

One of the important reasons our family chose Exuma was because we have two younger daughters. We all feel very safe and welcome. I, as a female, am comfortable walking the beach without worry of harassment. This is a small town, so everyone knows everyone’s business. There is a strong British, religious background here. It is shocking how wonderfully polite the children are as they pass you with a greeting, “Sir” and “Ma’am,” dressed in school uniforms.
