From a blind date to a 20 plus – year journey, Howard and I have survived the many ups and downs of being parents and entrepreneurs. Best of all, we’ve stayed best friends through it all! Having the beach house in Exuma has been a dream come true! It took many years of planning and hard work. We wanted to have a place where all our kids and our future grandkids would be excited to visit us. And we want to share this with you as the perfect Exuma vacation rental you’ve been looking for!

Back in Toronto we are very busy. We own theturnlab, a marketing technology agency that is B-corp certified, operates 100% carbon neutral and defines success on a triple bottom line of People, Planet, Profits. We try and apply the same ethos to running Dilly Crab Beach House.

And we recently launched another start up justmeetingrooms.com which is like an Airbnb for professional meeting spaces. One of the ways we give back to our island home is through our charity bike ride the Tour de Turquoise rideforexuma.com which over the past 10 years has raised over half a million dollars supporting local causes in the areas Health, Education and the Environment. Part of your rental fee goes to these local causes.

We are proud parents of three great kids. Our eldest son, Haan, is an award-winning chef, leading restaurants in Paris and now Toronto. Our middle daughter Malina, is a creative powerhouse, natural leader and a Co-founder of The Turn Lab. Our youngest daughter, Ocean, is a graduate of travel and tourism management and helps with marketing Dilly Crab. She also created a coffee table book so exploring Exuma island would be easy and fun.

We love our beautiful second home in Exuma. We are also believers that we should enjoy this amazing natural place and leave the smallest impact possible, that’s why we invested in a $100,000 solar system to keep Dillycrab 100% Carbon Neutral. With the added benefit, your beer will always be cold 😉 even if the local grid goes down!
